The department of health reports 62,064 vaccines have been distributed across Maricopa County as of Jan. 6.
Information on where vaccine will be distributed and how to access scheduling systems will be posted on the Maricopa County Department of Public Health website Jan. 11.
Appointments will be limited initially for Phase 1B and will be available at distribution sites that are not already fully booked for second doses to prioritized individuals from Phase 1A, according to the department of health.
People in both Phase 1A and Phase 1B will be able to register and search for any available appointments that are not already filled by prioritized health care personnel, according to the department of health.
"As operations are ramped up to support Phase 1B vaccination efforts, we anticipate more options for vaccination outside of [point of distribution] sites will be available to prioritized groups soon," read a news release from the county. "This may include vaccinations at pharmacies for those age 75 and older and employer-based vaccination events."
