Chandler Chamber Ostrich Festival rescheduled for Halloween weekend
After being postponed due to the coronavirus in March, the Chandler Chamber of Commerce announced May 7 that the 32nd annual Chandler Chamber Ostrich Festival will be rescheduled to Halloween weekend—Oct. 30-Nov. 1—at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler.

May 7 Gilbert update: Adjustment brings town's count back to 200 cases
An adjustment to the ZIP code numbers by the Arizona Department of Health Services has resulted in 14 fewer cases being reported in Gilbert on May 7 than the previous day. Health Services now reports Gilbert's six ZIP codes as having a combined 200 cases.

Gilbert to start limited park reopenings May 8
Gilbert is reopening some of its parks amenities May 8 for residents’ use at their own risk.
Opening up are restrooms and tennis courts. The ramadas and walking paths at Gilbert Regional Park are opening as well as all of Freestone Skate Park, Cosmo Dog Park and the fenced-in dog area at Crossroad District Park.
