The city of Chandler is partnering with For Our City-Chandler to celebrate Chandler Gives week from April 6-10 and is asking the community to make a donation of any amount to nonprofits in need due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Here’s the coronavirus news to know this week in Chandler

Gov. Doug Ducey issued an executive order April 6 halting evictions in the state for small businesses and nonprofits that are unable to pay rent due to financial hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Under the order, evictions will be halted until May 31.
