Drop off your books, CDs, DVDs and more at the Chandler Public Library this Saturday

Gather old books, CDs, DVDs and other media and drop them off at of the four Chandler Public Library locations Oct. 5 for a Book Drive & Curbside Drop-off event.

The items collected at the event will later be sold through the Friends of Chandler Public Library Book Shops. Donation of adult and children’s hardback and paperback books, audio CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray Discs and textbooks will help the library support group raise critical funds for library programs and services.

To donate, place your gently used books and media in small boxes and bring them to the nearest Chandler Library location between 10 a.m.-noon Oct. 5. Follow directional signage to the drop-off point and teen volunteers will be on hand to unload your donations.

Chandler’s four Public Library locations are: Basha, 5990 S, Val Vista Drive; Downtown, 22 S. Delaware St.; Hamilton, 3700 S. Arizona Ave.; and Sunset, 4930 W. Ray Road.
