Nozomi Dog Park scheduled to close for maintenance in July, August

Nozomi Dog Park, located in West Chandler, will close from July 8-Aug. 20 for maintenance and turf re-establishment, according to a news release from the city.

Chandler park maintenance crews will be aerating, topdressing, fertilizing and reseeding bare turf areas. Irrigation repairs and landscape maintenance will also be completed during the closure, according to the city.

Those who use the park have three other options within the city to attend in the interim:

  • Paseo Vista Dog Park located at 3850 S. McQueen Road. Open daily from 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., except Thursdays when it is closed for maintenance until 2:30 p.m.

  • Shawnee Dog Park located at 1400 W. Mesquite St. Open Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., except Tuesdays when it is closed for maintenance all day, and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Snedigar Dog Park located at 4500 S. Basha Road. Open daily from 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., except Wednesdays when it is closed for maintenance until 2:30 p.m.
