Sibley's West to close in downtown Chandler after 11 years

Sibley's West: The Chandler Arizona Gift Shop will close after 11 years in June, the owners announced on the company blog.

Michelle and John Wolfe opened Sibley's in downtown Chandler in December 2010 and decided that they would retire this year, read the blog post.

Forefathers restaurant opens Chandler

Forefathers, a restaurant that specializes in cheesesteaks, fries and salads, opened in Chandler on March 29.

Kastle Blak Fitness now offering training sessions in Chandler

Kastle Blak Fitness opened in Chandler on Feb. 20. The fitness business offers one-on-one personal training sessions.

Batch Cookie Shop opened April 9 in Gilbert in the City Gate development.

The family-owned shop makes gourmet cookies, does catering and has weekly community service challenges.

Salt Tacos y Tequila to open at SanTan Village in 2021

Salt Tacos y Tequila will open a second restaurant later in 2021 in Gilbert, in the SanTan Village shopping center.

It will serve modern Mexican cuisine, a variety of handcrafted margaritas and more than 150 types of tequila.

Phoenix Spine & Joint opens in Gilbert

Phoenix Spine & Joint opened a location April 1 at 1760 E. Pecos Road, Gilbert. It does orthopedic evaluation, tests and surgery.

Ace Handyman Services now open in Gilbert

Ace Handyman Services Gilbert opened Feb. 22 at 1176 E. Warner Road, Ste. 102, Gilbert. The service company affiliated with Ace Hardware Corp. specializes in minor home improvement projects and repairs.
