During Tuesday night’s Grapevine City Council workshop, Police Chief Eddie Salame discussed future plans to upgrade the department’s equipment, modify patrol cars and potentially heighten security downtown.
In 2011, Colleyville saw its first gas drilling site, implemented water restrictions and upgraded its residential recycling program. In the future, residents can look forward to new developments and the possibility of repairs to city infrastructure.
After losing business for the past three years, Atef Henary is bidding adieu to his car wash and Blimpie sandwich shop on Colleyville Boulevard. He is replacing them with a new liquor store, which he hopes will bring in better luck this year.
