12 road closures to keep in mind on Halloween in Southwest Nashville

There will be several road closures in place Oct. 31 throughout South Nashville for trick-or-treating and neighborhood events.

The following roads are set to be closed during the times listed below:

12 South

  • Montrose Avenue from 9th Avenue South to 10th Avenue South (4-9 p.m.)

  • Halcyon Avenue from 9th Avenue South to 10th Avenue South (all day)

  • Cedar Lane from Belmont Boulevard to 12th Avenue South (all day)


Belle Meade

  • Brookfield Avenue from Page Road to Nichol Lane (4-9 p.m.)

  • Nichol Lane from West Tyne Drive to Canterbury Drive (4-9 p.m.)


Green Hills

  • Oriole Place from Richard Jones Road to Shackleford Road (all day)

  • Bonner Avenue from Eden Avenue to Green Hills Village Drive (all day)

  • Chalmers Drive from Harding Place to Hildreth Drive (all day)


Hillsboro Village

  • Essex Place from 25th Avenue South to 26th Avenue South (all day)

  • Sunset Place from 25th Avenue South to Natchez Trace (all day)

  • 18th Avenue South from Bernard Avenue to Compton Avenue (4-10 p.m.)


West End

  • Kenner Avenue from Ridgefield Drive to Woodmont Circle (5-9 p.m.)

TDOT: No lane closures during Thanksgiving holiday weekend, Nov. 27-Dec. 2

To help cut down on travel delays during the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, the Tennessee Department of Transportation announced Nov. 25 it will pause all lane closure activity on interstates and state highways.
