First Tennessee Bank changed its name to First Horizon Bank on Oct. 25 to align with its parent company, First Horizon National Corp., according to a news release.

Customers do not need to make any changes as a result of the rebranding, according to the company. As part of the change, the website and mobile applications for First Tennessee Bank have converted to First Horizon Bank.

"The name on our building is changing but unchanged is the pride we take in helping our customers as well as our commitment to Middle Tennessee communities," said Carol Yochem, Middle Tennessee president of First Horizon Bank, in the release. "As First Horizon Bank, we will continue to work hand-in-hand with our customers to understand their changing bank needs throughout their lifetime, instituting new systems to help our employees work faster and to better serve our customers. We're excited about this upcoming chapter in the evolution of our bank's 155-year history.”

First Tennessee Park, located at 19 Junior Gilliam Way, Nashville, will feature new signage as a result of the name change, according to the release.

First Horizon operates more than 250 bank locations across the southeast. The company has 13 Nashville-area locations, including five in Southwest Nashville, as well as eight locations in Brentwood and Franklin. 800-382-5465.
