2. 25th Annual Halloween Festival
The city hosts its annual Halloween Festival at the Georgetown Community Center. The event will feature a trick-or-treat village, games, food and a costume contest. 3. Georgetown ghost tours
The Williamson Museum hosts ghost tours around the Georgetown Square. Hear the stories of ghosts who have haunted local places for more than 100 years. There is also a scary tour that includes heightened stories and interactive ghost hunting at 9 p.m. 7:30-9 p.m. $15 (members), $20. Williamson Museum, 716 S. 4. Hallo-Dogtoberfest
Rentsch Brewery hosts a Hallo-Dogtoberfest event. The family-friendly portion of the event will be from 2-6 p.m. Attendees are invited to bring their dog and enter him or her into a dog costume contest and dog-owner look-alike contest. Local pet food vendors, dog trainers, pet boarders, dog bakeries and a dog photographer will have tables set up in the parking lot. 5. Meet author Matt Tavares
