One of several new retailers and restaurants opening in Hill Center Brentwood, MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes is making its debut in Middle Tennessee next year.

Franchise owner Martin Arguello said the Brentwood location of MOOYAH is slated to to open in spring or early summer of next year.

"It'll be a great hit there with all the local families, schools, work, the entire Maryland Farms office park—there's just a lot of activity over there," Arguello said.

MOOYAH President and COO Tony Darden said that in addition to being a fun restaurant experience for guests, the eatery is focused on fresh ingredients and food quality.

"We use only certified angus beef that's fresh—never frozen," Darden said. "We cut our fries in-house; we use real ice cream in our shakes. So, truly, the food quality and the high esteem of the experience when you go into a MOOYAH is second to none. We believe that is absolutely what differentiates us from our competition."

Arguello said he will open two additional area locations of MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, with one in Franklin and another in Nashville; however, opening dates and exact locations have not yet been finalized. He said the second location is likely to open about a year after the Brentwood location.

"I've signed on for a three-restaurant deal, and the specific areas would be Nashville, Brentwood and Franklin," he said. "Brentwood will be the first location, and we're still trying to identify areas in Franklin and Nashville to expand to. Right now, we're focused on Brentwood."

The Plano, Texas-based company currently operates in 20 states and has ten international locations. These will be the first Middle Tennessee locations for the company, which also operates a restaurant in Knoxville, Darden said. He said the eatery is also actively looking to expand its reach in Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Florida and California as well as in the northeast.

"As you think about Tennessee and Nashville, that is absolutely a target market for us," Darden said. "It was just a matter of finding the right person to partner with, and we're extremely proud of our partnership with Martin."
