Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 13, the MNPD West Precinct will host monthly community meetings at 5500 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, to discuss crime trends and other concerns with residents who live in West Meade, parts of Green Hills and other West Nashville neighborhoods.

The meetings, set for 7-8 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month, are meant to create “open lines of communication, information sharing and transparency” between the community and the West Precinct, according to District 24 Council Member Kathleen Murphy.

The West Precinct spans 109 square miles, according to the MNPD.
