Lindsay Road widening continues from Pecos to Loop 202

Construction continues on the west side of Lindsay Road, south of Pecos Road.

Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction, allowing left turns. Retention basins, curb, gutter, utility and overhead cable relocation will continue for the next month.

The work is being to improve Lindsay Road from Pecos Road, including the intersection, to the Loop 202 underpass to major arterial standards. The improvements include additional lanes, a raised median, sidewalks and streetlights.

The work started in May and is expected to continue until March 2020.

Town of Gilbert bonds, Maricopa Association of Governments funds and developer contributions are being used to pay the $12.6 million cost.
