1. Holderrieth Road extension
This project will extend Holderrieth Road as a five-lane boulevard with drainage between Calvert Road and Hwy. 249. Pamela Rocchi, director of the Harris County Precinct 4 Capital Improvement Projects Division, said the county’s goal is to complete the project by the end of the second quarter of 2019—which ends in June—barring unforeseen circumstances.
Timeline: Jan. 29, 2018-second quarter 2019

2. Gosling Road widening
Precinct 4 is widening Gosling Road from a two-lane asphalt roadway to a four-lane concrete pavement section between West Mossy Oaks and West Rayford roads, including the bridge across Willow Creek. Due to unforeseen circumstances, including excessive inclement weather and other field challenges, Rocchi said this project’s completion date has been delayed from fourth quarter 2019 to first quarter 2020.

3. Strack Drive improvements
Construction on a project to widen Strack Drive to a three-lane roadway where it intersects with Louetta Road began May 13, and the installation of a traffic signal at the intersection is expected to begin in June, Rocchi said.
Timeline: May 13, 2019-July 2019
Cost: $350,000

4. FM 1960 curb ramp project
The Texas Department of Transportation’s $2.3 million Statewide Curb Ramp project on FM 1960, implemented to meet Americans with Disabilities Act requirements, has resumed construction after having been delayed by utility conflicts, TxDOT Public Information Officer Danny Perez said. Perez added his office is working with the contractor to get the project completed as quickly as possible with minimal effects on the traveling public.
Timeline: October 2016-mid-summer 2019
