The Village at Spanish Oaks

The Village at Spanish Oaks represents the final portion of the Spanish Oaks development. It is a project headed by two developers, CCNG Inc. and Arizona-based Greenbrier
Southwest.

The Village at Spanish Oaks will be an 80-acre multiuse development that incorporates residential, retail, office and recreational components.

Bee Cave City Council approved rezoning of the land in October to planned development mixed-use, moving the project forward on the way to construction beginning in 2019.

Signal Hill Estates

Another residential development in Bee Cave is Signal Hill Estates. Bee Cave City Council approved the site plan for Signal Hill on March 27.

Developer Evan Loomis bought the 95 acres of land in early 2018 and said the first few lots have sold in the development, so he expects builders to begin laying foundations for the first homes at the beginning of 2019.

Signal Hill Estates home prices vary, but the average cost will be about $1.5 million for houses that sit on lots ranging from 1-3 acres, Loomis said in November.

The Square on Lohmans

Developer Haythem Dawlett’s company, Legend Communities, has presented plans for a new development on the same tract of land as the previously proposed City Center, a mixed-use project on Lohmans Crossing Road, this time following community outreach for citizen input led by representatives from the city of Lakeway.

Bill Hayes, Legend Communities chief operating officer, said he expects to have a final presentation before the Lakeway Zoning & Planning Commission by March and, pending approval, another presentation for approval by City Council in April.

The scope of the 62-acre development now includes 253 total residential lots, 85,000 total square feet of commercial space, two three-story parking garages, retention ponds, a 2.5-acre park and a three-story office building.

Provence

The Provence development off Hamilton Pool Road will be open to the community by spring for potential homebuyers to look at floor plans, and a community opening event is planned for summer, according to Samantha Meredith, marketing manager for Masonwood Development Corp.

Phase 1 of the development consists of 460 acres and 678 homes, and Meredith said the second section of Provence will begin this year.

“That will come online most likely in 2020 along with the amenities center,” Meredith said.
