Stageworks Theatre is partnering with Lone Star College-CyFair for the first time this holiday season to present Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol: The Musical” at the college’s Main Stage Theatre, 9191 Barker Cypress Road, Cypress.

The production is a musical adaptation of the classic story of curmudgeon Ebenezer Scrooge, according to a press release.

“Come see how these Broadway’s heavy hitters breathe fantastic new life into the classic tale with astounding music and lyrics,” Kelly Gernhart, dean of arts, humanities and social sciences, said in a statement.

The show runs from Nov. 23-Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and at 3 p.m. on Sundays.
