Austin-based business executives can learn how potential tax reform at the federal level may affect their companies’ growth strategies at a conference Dec. 5. The Austin Executive Business Summit 2017: Navigating Growth Amid Change summit, coordinated by audit, tax and consulting service firm RSM US LLP brings together economists and tax experts from Washington D.C. and elsewhere to discuss how changes to the federal tax code may affect mid-level businesses. The Austin summit, held at the Archer Hotel Austin in Domain Northside, is one of several stops throughout the country and one of two in Texas. The other is held in Dallas on Dec. 11. Speakers will present information regarding the status of tax reform proposals on Capitol Hill, the U.S.’s current economic outlook, research and development tax credits, state and local taxes and more. The event concludes with a networking happy hour at 5 p.m. Registration is required. Registration is $50 for members of the Association of Records Managers and Administrators (ARMA) the Strategic Account Managers Association (SAMA). Non-members may attend for a $65 admission fee.
