As Labor Day weekend begins and storm recovery efforts continue in the Tomball and Magnolia areas, multiple local businesses are serving as donation drop-off sites, donating a portion of their profits to relief efforts or providing free services to first responders and displaced residents. 1. Tune Up: The Manly Salon offers free haircuts for first responders at any of its Texas locations as well as free shampoo services for residents without access to shower facilities. The offer is available through Sept. 10, founder Candice Milton said. www.tuneupsalon.com

3. The Turquoise Door, located at 212 W. Main St., Tomball, is selling flood relief T-shirts to help raise money for the JJ Watt Foundation's Houston Flood Relief Fund. All proceeds from T-shirts that are preordered by Saturday, Sept. 2, will provide funds for flood recovery. T-shirts are available for $25. 4. Adelyne's, located at 11715 Spring Cypress Road, Tomball, is offering discounted school supply and classroom items for items going to Lemm and Moore elementary schools in Klein and Cy-Fair ISDs, respectively. Both schools sustained major flood damage. Customers can also purchase Texas Strong T-shirts for $25 at Adelyne's. All proceeds from shirt sales go to support flood relief efforts.
