Donate Life Texas 2nd Chance Run
Hosted by LifeGift, this 5K and one-mile walk raises awareness for and recognizes lives saved through organ and tissue donations. Both walks will take place at the Sugar Land Skeeters' Constellation Field. Same-day registration is cash only. 8 a.m. (5K), 8:15 a.m. (one-mile run). $20 (youth), $35 (adult). Sugar Land City Council District 4 candidate forum
Candidates vying for the Sugar Land City Council District 4 seat—Sean Burnett, Qaisar “Q” Imam and Carol McCutcheon—will have another forum at the Ismaili Jamatkhana and Center in the city. Reda Hicks, vice president of civic engagement for the League of Women Voters of the Houston Area, and Brandon Rottinghaus, a political science professor at the University of Houston, will moderate the event.

Walk of Hope
The fifth annual Houston Walk of Hope is RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association’s signature fundraising event. The nonprofit aids local support services and programs for the 7.3 million women and men living with infertility and raises public understanding.
