Hudgins Street extension

In April, crews are working on storm drainage as well as relocating utilities. The project, when complete, will extend West Hudgins Street from Ball Street to Bellaire Drive in Grapevine. Currently the street stops at Ball.

SH 121/SH 360 interchange

The bridge foundations and columns were recently completed on the project. Crews continue to pave the new main lanes from northbound SH 360 to northbound SH 121 in preparation for a traffic switch onto new pavement this spring. Drainage and wall crews are also continuing their work throughout the center median of SH 121. When complete there will be two new ramps from northbound SH 360: one to SH 121 and one to SH 114. From the existing eastbound SH 114 to southbound SH 121/360 bridge, there will be a new ramp to southbound SH 121, and the ramp to southbound SH 360 will be reconfigured.

FM 1938 Phase 2

The FM 1938 expansion project in Southlake continues. At the intersection of FM 1938, also known as Randol Mill Avenue, and Southlake Boulevard, where construction is significantly completed, some daily lane closures during off-peak periods can still be expected to finish work in the medians, around the intersection and to install the permanent traffic signals. North of the intersection, crews continue to reconstruct the new northbound and southbound lanes, which includes a new retaining wall located along the west side of FM 1938.

SH 26 Phase 2

On the SH 26 project, which is between John McCain Road and Brown Trail, motorists can expect to see increased construction activity south of Glade Road, including placement of a concrete traffic barrier and removal of existing drainage near the Little Bear Creek bridge in the coming weeks. Additional construction activity throughout the rest of the project will include the placement of temporary traffic signals, additional traffic-control devices and installation of temporary pavement at various locations along the project limits.
