Starting tomorrow, Downtown McKinney will transform into an art lover's paradise as 150 local, regional and nationally recognized artists representing 15 states and 45 cities from across Texas come together for Arts in Bloom.

Arts in Bloom runs from 4-9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and  12-5 p.m. on Sunday.

The city's annual event has been expanded to three days this year and the city has posted several tips online to make the event a little easier to navigate for first timers, including a map of area parking.

Where's the wine?

The wine garden not only allows patrons to grab a glass of wine, it also offers them a chance to meet with representatives from local wineries.

The Trinity Falls Wine Garden  is located on Louisiana St., and is open to all ages, but only guests 21 and older will be permitted to drink or taste wine. Wine tastings include a wine glass.

The tastings are $20 per person includes a commemorative Arts in Bloom Wine Glass and 10 tickets to use at any participating winery. Patrons can purchase wine by the glass (prices range from $5 - $10 per glass depending on the wine). Cash and credit cards are accepted as forms of payment, and all wine tasting packages are purchased on-site in the Wine Tasting Tent.

The three day event also offers munchies from various local businesses and breweries. From popsicles to roasted veggies there is a little bit of something to please most pallets. For a list of food vendors and what they will be serving, as well as a list of local beers available, click here.

Bring the kids
