1. Enfusia
What we reported Enfusia, a local bath product company, is owned by resident Debra Meyers who began her business nearly a decade ago by making handcrafted lotions in her home kitchen. In 2016, Enfusia was housed at 25275 Budde Road, Spring, and sold a variety of products including bubble bath, bath bombs, salts, lotions, soap, body mist and fine fragrances in more than a dozen scents. Enfusia relocated to a new space in Harper’s Landing at 410 S. Trade Center Parkway, Ste. A9, in October. Enfusia products can be found at H-E-B stores in The Woodlands, the Harvest Market off Gosling Road, Hubbell and Hudson’s Kitchen and several local doctor offices.
The latest The new location is three times the size of the original location—allowing the business to grow from 20 employees to 33 employees—while investing in additional equipment to improve production efficiencies. Enfusia has also added approximately 50 retailers across 12 to 15 states that sell its products, with a large concentration of that growth happening in Texas.
What’s next Meyers said Enfusia plans to release two new products in 2017. Breathe Easy is a bath soak, which can also be used as a steep and will provide sinus relief, and Muscle Rehab is a bath bomb and soak for athletes to aid with sore muscles. Meyers also said her goals for 2017 will be to streamline production and continue investing in equipment and employees to ensure efficiency.

2. Vom Fass
What we reported Vom Fass had its soft opening Nov. 16 at 1950 Hughes Landing Blvd., Ste. 1800, The Woodlands. The tasting room features international oils, vinegars, liqueurs and spirits.
The latest A grand opening celebration was held Dec. 2 and 3 and consisted of a cooking demonstration and a mixology lesson. Owner Maria Pimientos said the business has seen a good response from the community since opening, with a couple of companies buying corporate gifts from Vom Fass for Christmas.
What’s next Vom Fass will be participating in Taste of the Town in February as well as hosting a tequila tasting event in mid-January. Customers can also book private parties and tastings two weeks in advance to sample Vom Fass products.

3. Dance With Me
What we reported Dance With Me opened in early December at 1501 Lake Robbins Drive, Ste. 160, The Woodlands. Founded by “Dancing With the Stars” cast members Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Tony Dovolani, the studio offers various dance instruction classes for participants of all ages. At Dance With Me, dancers can take private lessons, group classes and dance fitness and wedding dance classes as well as participate in showcases, competitions and corporate wellness classes.
The latest Alex Samusevich, marketing director for Dance With Me, said since opening in The Woodlands, Dance With Me has seen incredible feedback from the community. Over 1,000 forms have been filled out on the dance studio’s website, and hundreds have come into the studio already. The grand opening for the studio was the most successful one the company has seen. Samusevich said the continous goal of the staff at Dance With Me is to keep services and classes fresh, bring in new coaches and specialty coaches throughout the year and cater to the demand of customers.

4. Artrageous Pottery Studio
What we reported Artrageous Pottery Studio had its soft opening in April and held a grand opening Sept. 24-25 in the Village of Creekside Park at 26400 Kuykendahl Road, C190, The Woodlands. The studio offers walk-in pottery painting, canvas painting, clay building, glass fusing and mosaic creation for artists of all ages and levels of experience.
The latest The studio’s business has grown tremendously, General Manager Amanda Bolton said. The pottery studio has birthday party bookings nearly every weekend and has also had several holiday parties during the winter months. The studio has also expanded its painting options with more canvas and glass fusing options, new seasonal pottery pieces and the addition of pet rock painting.
What’s next Bolton said during 2017, Artrageous plans to move forward with more events, such as Mother’s Day Out and new camp concepts throughout the year and during the summer. 5. Snuggles & Hugs Active Dog Camp
What we reported Snuggles and Hugs Active Dog Camp opened Dec. 4 at 26781 Hanna Road, Oak Ridge North. Owned by Nancy and Darrel Schuster, who also own Snuggles and Hugs Pet Care LLC, the camp boasts safe off-leash play groups with a dog-to-staff ratio of no more than 6-to-1. Dogs are evaluated prior to entering the camp and are then organized into play groups based on dog size, energy level, activity preference and play style.
The latest Since opening, Snuggles and Hugs Active Dog Camp has already welcomed its first overnight boarder and hosted a successful open house Dec. 10, Darrel Schuster said.The couple has also given several tours of the facility.
What’s next Darrel Schuster said in February, the couple is planning to host an official grand opening for Snuggles and Hugs Active Dog Camp and plans to hire additional employees for both businesses in 2017. In January, they will also be offering a free dog camp day promotion for the first 25 people who get their dogs evaluated. The Schusters said they are looking forward to continuing to grow their business in the coming year.
