The futuristic ice cream chain opened a location in Sugar Land June 17. The store freezes the ice cream and yogurt using liquid nitrogen.


Customers pick the base and mix-ins; lactose-free, vegan and sugar-free options are available. Sub Zero has other Greater Houston area stores in Tomball, Beaumont and Pearland, as well as locations throughout the U.S.



The latest


The store launched a catering service in December and has sent a mobile ice cream unit to community events. Sub Zero Ice Cream will hold more demonstrations and science experiences for children in 2017.
