What we reported Brooke Manning opened Junkin Gypsies, a hands-on pallet art studio, Sept. 17 in Tomball. The business hosts group parties and workshops during which customers can choose any design to put on a pallet. Wooden door hangers and other products are also available. The location is an offshoot of the original Junkin Gypsies in Nederland.

The latest Manning said the studio has been completely booked since its September opening. Junkin Gypsies has hired project managers and added additional services and inventory, such as custom orders, take-home kits for making pallet art and essential oils holders. Mother’s Day Out workshops are also available a few times a week.

What’s next The studio plans to add nonseasonal home decor options in 2017 as well as themed art for events and holidays like the Super Bowl.
