ELM Restaurant Group, the team behind Austin restaurants Easy Tiger Bake Shop & Beer Garden, Irene's and 24 Diner, announced Thursday it has partnered with the city of Austin to open Cookbook, a restaurant and bar concept within the city's new central library. With a cookbook and literary theme, the counter-service eatery will have a market feel, offer a variety of styles and incorporate organic and farm-to-table components whenever possible. The library is scheduled to open in May.
