Halloween is right around the corner, and fall weather is in the air. There is a little something for everyone in Georgetown this week.

Halloween Festival

The Georgetown Parks and Recreation Department is putting on the event featuring hayrides, a showing of “Hotel Transylvania 2,” a trick-or-treat village and a costume contest.

Rider Cup Classic

ROCK's fifth annual Rider Cup Classic benefits ROCK on Veterans, a therapeutic horsemanship program, the golf event includes gifts, boxed lunches and a light dinner during the awards ceremony.

Boo Run

Hosted by the Exceptional Georgetown Alliance, the 1-mile/5K run raises funds to offset the cost of summer camps for students in the Georgetown area as well as help to fund other recreational activities. A children’s costume contest and race awards will follow the event.

A Ghoulish Night of Tricks and Treats

Hosted by the Wolf Ranch Town Center, guests can experience a night of tricks, treats and Halloween entertainment at this event, which features trick-or-treating, custom treat bags, a magic show, performers, music, food vendors, a costume contest, a dog parade, a pet costume contest and children’s craft table.

Chili Cook Off

San Gabriel River Brewery will host its first annual chili cook off benefitting Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County. Teams will compete in a people's choice vote for the best chili.

Beer Rally

The American Homebrewers Association is hosting the rally to give homebrewers the chance to check out some of their local breweries and connect with other beer enthusiasts and homebrewers in their area. The event features a brewery tour, beer samples, and prizes.
