Froberg’s Farm Corn Maze and Fall Festival

Sept. 24-Nov. 6: The farm’s fourth annual event features its famous corn maze as well as hay rides, flower picking, and various games and attractions, including face painting and pony hops. There is also a pumpkin patch perfect for family photos. BOO on the Boardwalk

All of October: Halloween-themed activities are featured at the Kemah Boardwalk, including the Doom Haunted House and the Little Boo Haunted Fun House for younger visitors. 17th Annual Halloween in the Park

Evillene’s Haunted Castle

Oct. 28: The Bay Area Arts Conservatory presents a maze of scares not for the faint of heart. 40th Annual Fall Festival

Oct. 29: Thousands of community members attend Alvin Community College’s annual fall festival, which is an evening of games, arts and crafts and food booths presented by local businesses and school organizations. The ACC Softball Team presents the annual 5k Zombie Blood Run. Registration for the run begins at 4:30 p.m., and the race is at 5:30 p.m. 5-9 p.m. (overall festival hours).
