Frisco Flats Frisco Flats is a proposed 7-acre condominium development off of Town & Country Boulevard.[/caption] During the Sept. 6 meeting, Frisco City Council approved a request to rezone nearly seven acres off of Town & Country Boulevard for condominiums. The condos will be a part of a 175-acre development that includes single family housing and office space. The units will range from 2,300-2,800 square feet that will reflect the architecture of a traditional townhome development. The condo development will also include interior courtyards and open space. Water features, fire pits and a bocce ball court are also included in the development. Residents near the proposed development are in support of the proposed development, said Phil Crimmins, Stonebriar Legacy Association of Neighborhoods president. “Our residents believe that the condominium project will be an asset to the city and an asset to our neighborhood,” he said. Jay March with Kimley Horn, the developer of the project, said the development, known as Frisco Flats, is a sister project to one in Highland Park opening later this year. “This is a really nice project coming to Frisco,” he said. “We did have a focus group of Frisco residents, and we took their comments and incorporated [them] into our design.” City staff will prepare an ordinance for the development and present it to Council at a later date.
