Walmart has announced Dallas-Fort Worth area as one of 10 new areas in which customers can order groceries online for free pickup at participating stores. The service will be available at eight Walmart Supercenters in the DFW area, including Plano and Frisco. Customers using the free service can order
online or from a mobile device, and schedule a pick up time at a participating store without getting out of their cars. This is the first time the program is being offered in the state of Texas.
Customers can shop more than 30,000 grocery items, including fresh meat, dairy, produce and household items. To order or for more information, visit
walmart.com/grocery. Participating locations will offer designated parking spaces for pickup customers.
Customers can also receive 10 percent off their first purchase by using the code NEWORDER during checkout.
