A few more businesses will be seeing patients this summer at Waterleaf Medical Center at Davis Lane, said Mike O’Neal, partner with b3 Commercial Management LLC. The company is working with Hughes Capital Management to develop Waterleaf, which will be a health care and medical campus with four buildings and 120,000 square feet of space at the intersection of Davis Lane and MoPac, b3 President Trac Bledsoe said.

“The community of health services that will be provided at this intersection will be the Southwest Austin hub of where you go to get your health care needs addressed,” Bledsoe said.

Construction began in October 2013. The first building was completed in 2014. Workers finished the shell on a building at 5301 Davis Lane in June. The second building is under construction, and work on the third will likely begin in August, Bledsoe said.

Austin Root Canal Specialists, Brunson Dental, Texas Diabetes and Endocrinology and Texas Fertility Center/Austin IVF are open. Flint Rock Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Prosthodontics of Texas and Westlake Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery are slated to open in August, O’Neal said.
