Wild About Music announced it will move to a new downtown storefront after operating for 24 years in Austin.

The business had to move last July due to redevelopment of its site and began operating out of a temporary location at 209 E. Sixth St. A new location will open in June at 615 Congress Ave. where the business will continue offering its music-themed art gallery and wide selection of gifts.

A top-down renovation is currently underway at the new location before Wild About Music relocates. A permanent downtown home has been the goal for the business for more than a decade, said Fred Schmidt, co-founder and CEO, in a statement.

NOW OPEN—A restaurant with the mission of bringing chefs back to the forefront of fine dining opened March 4. Counter 3.FIVE.VII, located at 315 Congress Ave., Ste. 100, allows guest to choose if they would like a three-, five- or seven-course meal—hence the name. The menu is a collaboration among all the restaurant's chefs. The restaurant will have 24 seats around chef's counter to enjoy their meal. 512-291-3327

COMING SOON—A sixth Austin location of Alamo Drafthouse Cinema  was announced March 9. The new theatre will be in Mueller's town center district called Aldrich Street and is slated to open in 2016 at the corner of Airport Boulevard and Aldrich Street. The theatre will have six screens, be able to seat 600 people and have an adjacent bar and lounge area.

COMING SOON—A Denver-based company specializing in longboards will open its first Austin location April 23. BOARDLife offers longboards and other skateboards along with paddleboards, cruisers and apparel to patrons of varying experience levels. Personalized longboards can be built in the BOARDlife shop, which is located at 1100 S. Lamar Blvd, Ste. 2130, within an hour.

CLOSINGS—Phillip Lowrie, manager of Corazon at Castle Hill, announced March 3 the restaurant will close after 29 years on April 30. The property at 1101 W. Fifth St. has been sold to another party that plans to keep the location a restaurant but does not wish to reveal any anticipated plans at this time, Lowrie said. He and owner Cathe Dailey shared a farewell note on the restaurant's Facebook page thanking customers for years of business and encouraged people to get their last taste of Corazon before it closes. 512-476-0728
