Any Lab Test Now in July opened a mobile unit to serve The Woodlands area. The lab service will travel to a private residence or business to conduct lab testing on-site. Any Lab Test Now is the first mobile lab service in Montgomery County and conducts the same tests as its storefront lab testing facility.

"Anything we do in-store, we'll do out-of-store too," owner Glenys Smith said.

Although the most frequent requests are for health screens, STD testing and DNA paternity tests, Smith said they also offer a distinctive 10-week detection test for pregnant women

"We call this 'prenatal sex determination,'" Smith said.

Smith said the new mobile service is convenient for people who have difficulty visiting the storefront, either due to mobility concerns or time demands.
