Chocolate lovers have the opportunity to taste sweets and watch competitions at the sixth annual Austin Chocolate Festival Nov. 16–17.
The event is from 10 a.m.–6 p.m. at the Norris Conference Center, 2525 W. Anderson Lane, Ste. 365. Proceeds from the festival benefit the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas and homeless shelter Front Steps, event organizer Steven Flood event organizer said.
The event includes live music and about 14 Texas vendors. Chocolate competitions take place between local vendors and licensed food companies for Best Brownie, Best Frozen Dessert, Best Truffle, Best Chocolate Couverture and more.
Participants may choose which competitions they are interested in attending and purchase tickets for the respective competition times. Tickets are sold in two-hour intervals and can be picked up at will call at the Norris Conference Center. To see the schedule of competitions, visit the website.
