As part of the ongoing efforts to widen I-440 in Nashville, one ramp closure will be in place June 5-8, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

From 8 p.m. June 5 through 6 a.m. June 8, the ramp from I-24 eastbound to I-440 westbound will be closed for concrete pavement replacement work.

Drivers will not be able to access the ramp during the weekend, a news release said. The work is weather permitting, and detours will be in place.

Additionally, the ramp from I-65 southbound to I-440 eastbound will be closed for concrete replacement overnight between 8 p.m.-6 a.m. June 4-5 and June 9-10.

The overall project, which will widen the entire roadway to three lanes in each direction, is expected to be completed by July 31, according to TDOT.
