One ramp closure will be in place on I-440 in Nashville on May 29-June 1, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

From 8 p.m. May 29 through 6 a.m. June 1, the ramp from I-440 eastbound to I-65 southbound will be closed for concrete pavement replacement work.

Drivers will not be able to access the ramp during the weekend, a news release said. The work is weather permitting, and detours will be in place.

The project, which will widen the entire roadway to three lanes in each direction, is expected to be completed by July 31, according to TDOT.

TDOT resumed road work on interstates and state highways May 26 after halting construction-related lane closures during Memorial Day weekend.
