Cafe Coco is closing after more than 20 years in Midtown at 210 Louise Ave., Nashville, and will reopen as an Italian market, according to a social media post from owner Chuck Cinelli, who also operate Coco’s Italian Market and Restaurant, Coco’s West Italian Restaurant and other locations. The new restaurant will operate under a new name with a focus on takeout, delivery and catering trays, according to the post.

"With the new normal that we are all facing, we in the restaurant industry are being forced to take a hard look at our business and see how we can adapt successfully for the new era," Cinelli said in the post. "That, combined with the changing landscape of Nashville, has given me an opportunity to evolve this business. It’s time, as they say in Italy, to bring Cafe Coco ‘into the family.'"

A reopening date for the market has not yet been announced. 615-321-2626. www.italianmarket.biz
