More than 20 shops and restaurants have been announced so far for Fifth + Broadway, a mixed-use retail and entertainment hub on track to open later this year in downtown Nashville.

Along with standalone retail and dining spaces, the overall project includes office space, residential units, a 100,000-square-foot food hall and the National Museum for African American Music.

Once open, the food hall will be home to more than 20 local and regional restaurants, according to The Food Hall Co., the Texas-based company in charge of the project. Additional restaurants will be announced leading up to Assembly Food Hall's fall 2020 opening.

The NMAAM is preparing for a grand opening on Labor Day weekend, according to update on the museum's website. Once open, the museum will feature seven galleries dedicated to music genres and styles created and influenced by African Americans as well as a 200-seat theater and more.
