Whole Foods Market will host a grand opening Feb. 28 for its newest Tennessee location at 1202 Broadway, Nashville, according to a representative for the company.

The grocery store will feature a full-service butcher offering in-house sausages and ready-to-cook options, a specialty food section, an in-house bakery, large bulk section, full service coffee bar and items from local producers, according to a release.

“We are excited to bring Whole Foods Market to downtown Nashville,” Store Team Leader Heather Masullo said in statement. “We look forward to providing the Nashville community with greater access to high-quality food, grocery and body care products, as well as a destination to discover new flavors and local items unique to this area.”

The 44,500-square-foot store will officially open at 9 a.m., and the first 250 guests in line will receive a token that can be redeemed for a reusable tote bag as well as a savings card good for $5-$20 off their purchase. Local coffee retailer Stay Golden will also be on-site for the opening with coffee and pastries for guests standing in line.

Whole Foods also has two additional store locations planned for the Greater Nashville areas; however, locations and opening dates have not yet been announced. www.wholefoodsmarket.com
