This marks an increase of 150 new cases reported in the county since the department’s last update July 21.
There are now 5,436 active coronavirus cases in the county, a decrease of 270 in the last 24 hours.
Statewide, there have been 84,417 total cases, an increase of 2,473 in the last 24 hours. There have been 888 cumulative deaths and an estimated 49,748 recoveries to date. Seventeen people have died of the virus in Tennessee since the July 21 update.
Overall, more than 1.26 million COVID-19 tests have been conducted, according to the TDH update, including more than 25,500 reported in the last 24 hours.
