Coronavirus cases in Tennessee rise by 447 in past 24 hours

Coronavirus cases across the state of Tennessee have risen to 24,822 as of June 3, according to the latest update from the Tennessee Department of Health. This marks an increase of 447 new cases reported since the June 2 update.

The total includes 388 deaths, 1,829 cumulative hospitalizations and an estimated 16,319 recovered patients.


In Davidson County, there have been at least 5,429 reported cases. Williamson County currently has 577 cases.

Overall, more than 470,000 tests have been conducted across Tennessee, including more than 8,000 reported in the past 24 hours, according to the update.
