Here are the latest coronavirus updates for Tennessee. (Community Impact staff)

Coronavirus cases across the state of Tennessee have risen to 24,375 as of June 2, according to the latest update from the Tennessee Department of Health. This marks an increase of 821 new cases reported since the June 1 update, one of the largest increases in recent weeks, according to TDH data.

The total includes 381 deaths, 1,792 cumulative hospitalizations and 15,916 recovered patients.

In Davidson County, there have been at least 5,323 reported cases. Williamson County currently has 567 cases.


Overall, more than 462,136 tests have been conducted across Tennessee, including more than 13,000 reported in the past 24 hours, according to the update.
