Coronavirus cases in Tennessee rise by 356, surpassing 20,000 total cases

Coronavirus cases across Tennessee have risen to 20,145 as of May 24, according to the latest update from the Tennessee Department of Health—an increase of 356 new cases since May 23.

The total includes 336 deaths, 1,583 cumulative hospitalizations and 12,837 recoveries.

In Davidson County, there have been at least 4,518 reported cases. Williamson County has 512 cases.


Overall, more than 383,000 tests have been conducted, according to the update. Residents can find testing sites and assessment centers here.
