Coronavirus cases across Tennessee have risen to 18,532 as of May 20, according to the latest update from the Tennessee Department of Health—an increase of 154 new cases since May 19.

The total includes 309 deaths, 1,515 cumulative hospitalizations and 11,783 recoveries.


In Davidson County, there was an increase of 48 cases since yesterday's update. Williamson County had a 4-person difference in active cases from yesterday's data. TDH officials have previously said county numbers can vary as it makes corrections related to county of testing versus county of residency.

Overall, more than 354,000 residents have been tested, according to the update. Residents can find testing sites and assessment centers here.
