Coronavirus cases in Tennessee up by 100 in past 24 hours

Coronavirus cases across the state of Tennessee have risen to 17,388 as of May 17, according to the latest update from the Tennessee Department of Health. This marks an increase of 100 new cases reported since the update May 16.

The total includes 298 deaths, 1,482 cumulative hospitalizations and 9,652 recovered patients. More than 325,000 tests have been conducted statewide.


In Davidson County, there was an increase of 21 cases since yesterday's update. Williamson County saw no increase in new cases.
