The number of cases of coronavirus in Tennessee has risen to 15,544 as of May 11, according to the Tennessee Department of Health.

This marks 559 new cases reported sine the day prior, an increase of 3.7%.


The latest totals include 251 deaths, 1,344 cumulative hospitalizations and 8,038 recovered patients.

More than 273,000 tests have been conducted statewide, according to the TDH.
