If you're halfway through your New Year's resolution to lose weight but thinking, "I could really use a doughnut," Krispy Kreme invites you to indulge.

On Monday, the doughnut chain unveiled its 'Chocolate Glaze Collection.' In a press release, Krispy Kreme said it's sending a message to New Year's dieters: "don't quit, cheat sweet."

“If you’re taking a brief break from your diet or exercise routine, you may as well make it worth it,” said Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. “This is worth it,” Skena added.

The 'Chocolate Glaze Collection' revamps some of Krispy Kreme's popular offerings with, you guessed it, chocolate dough and chocolate glaze.

Here are the flavors:

  • Chocolate Glazed Cake Batter Doughnut
  • Chocolate Glazed Raspberry Filled Doughnut
  • Double Chocolate Glazed Kreme Filled Doughnut
  • Chocolate Glazed Oreo Cookies and Kreme Doughnut

The collection will be available at Krispy Kreme stores through January 27. To find a location near you, click here.

In addition to Krispy Kreme, Nashville has many options to satisfy doughnut cravings. Fox's Donut Den, Five Daughters Bakery, The Donut and Dog, and East Park Donuts and Coffee are popular locally-owned shops.

What's your favorite doughnut shop? Vote in our informal poll. But really, if doughnuts are involved, isn't everyone a winner?
