With Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Small Business Saturday all on the horizon, you won't have to look far to find something to do this weekend. But if you'd like a break from entertaining guests at home or just want to embrace the influx of holiday offerings, we have you covered.

Below you'll find a tree lighting ceremony with singer-songwriter Cassadee Pope, a gingerbread house decorating party, a free movie screening at TailGate Brewery and more.

Just remember — when enjoying those Thanksgiving leftovers, make sure to skip over any romaine lettuce. The CDC issued a warning Tuesday advising consumers, retailers and restaurants to toss out all romaine products due to an outbreak of E. coli infections. You can read more about that issue here.
