1. 14th annual Tour de Nash

When: Saturday, May 19, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Where: Rides will start and end on 5th Ave North at Monroe

Tour de Nash, organized by Walk Bike Nashville, is the city’s largest urban bike ride. The organization holds the event each year to encourage people to explore Nashville's best bikeways and greenways by bicycle. This year’s event features the Tour de Nash Market, which will showcase over 50 local vendors along with food and live entertainment. The 2018 Tour will have three routes: the Family Ride (~8 miles), the Local Tour (~25 Miles), and the Grand Tour (~45 Miles).


2. Richland Park Market Fest

When: Saturday, May 19, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Where: 4711 Charlotte Pike, Nashville

Richland Park Market Fest is this weekend over in West Nashville. The third annual event, which is free and open to the public, features children’s activities, live music and more than 50 food and craft vendors. The festival is hosted by the Richland Park Farmers’ Market, a weekly market open each Saturday at 10 a.m.-noon.


3. Diskin Cider's Grand Opening

When: Saturday, May 19, 12-11 p.m.

Where: 1235 Martin St, Nashville

Nashville is home to craft breweries, distilleries and wineries. Now we can add a craft cidery to the list with Diskin Cider. The cidery will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday with a day-long event featuring tastings, food trucks, live screen printing and musical guests.


4. 2018 Music City Mutt Strutt 5k Walk & Run

When: Sunday, May 20, 8 a.m.-11 a.m.

Where: 1900 Davidson St, Nashville

Music City Mutt Strutt brings together more than 1,000 people and pups alike to walk and run while raising money for the Nashville Humane Association. The event is outdoors, family-friendly and medals will be awarded to all runners.

5. Children’s author event at Parnassus Book

When: Sunday, May 20, 2 p.m.

Where: Parnassus Books, 3900 Hillsboro Pike #14

Parnassus Books will host three local children's book creators — Susan Eaddy, Jessica Young and illustrator Daniel Wiseman — in honor of the group’s new picture books, “Poppy's Best Babies,” “Play This Book” and “Pet This Book!” While the event is free to the public, copies will be available to purchase for signings.
