Cases of coronavirus in Williamson County have risen to 3,021 as of July 29, according to the latest update from the Tennessee Department of Health.

This marks an increase of 35 new cases reported in the county since the department’s last update July 27.

There are now 1,338 active cases of coronavirus in the county, a decrease of 48 since yesterday.

Statewide, there are 100,822 total cases, 1,020 cumulative deaths and an estimated 62,129 recoveries to date. More than 20 people have died of the virus in Tennessee since yesterday’s update.

Overall, more than 1.45 million COVID-19 tests have been conducted, according to the TDH update, including more than 19,600 reported in the last 24 hours.
