5 road projects to know this month in Franklin, Brentwood

The city of Franklin is working to complete a 12-foot-wide multiuse trail on the west side of the city. The project will start at Vera Valley Drive and end at Fifth Avenue North.

Franklin Bakehouse now open on Main Street

Franklin Bakehouse held a grand opening Sept. 26 at 100 E. Main St., Franklin, on the ground level of Harpeth Square.



Thai Esane to open new Brentwood location

Owner and chef Nina Singto will open a new location of Thai Esane in Brentwood at 203 Franklin Road, Ste. 100, Brentwood, in the former location of Nama Sushi Bar at Hill Center Brentwood.

Gov. Bill Lee to end COVID-19 business restrictions in most counties, keep state-of-emergency

After nearly seven months of restrictions on businesses and other entities in the state to slow the spread of coronavirus, Gov. Bill Lee announced Sept. 29 that the restrictions will be lifted in Tennessee.

Corner Pub coming soon to Cool Springs in former Franklin Abbey space

Corner Pub is slated to open a new location at 9200 Carothers Parkway, Franklin, in the former location of Franklin Abbey, which announced its closure in August.
